Moving very very slowly here.. Sanded off the epoxy putty and made the monocoque top flat. The Mclaren/Ferrari airbox intake is fused together... Added F2001 side winglets.. A lot of filling to follow...

Finally get back to some modeling after half a year of idle time.

I put a lot of epoxy putty to beef up the monocoque, airbox and body cowling..



Need to wait for a day or 2 before heavy sanding... very excited to get my hands dirty again

Scratch built 2 side wings with styrene sheets. It looks pretty cool after all. The major body modifications are considered done.. Next, hmmm tons of epoxy puttying!!! and then sanding!!! my hands will be very sore..

Got some minor progress over the weeknight.

Cut off the side wings. I will soon put some epoxy putty to reprofile the rear part of the cowling.. then scratch build a new side wings to attach on both sides.



Replaced the airbox entry with F1-2000 one. Also trying hard to sand the monocoque top flat... A lot of epoxy putty will follow after that.
