Just got back from vacation and get back to modeling abit.

I put together the rear and front wing. Dealing with white metal is paint. Epoxy glue is the only choice for me. The clear winglet plate on the front end plate is pain to attach. I ended up using white glue to attach it. It is not solid and I am prepared to glue it again if it falls off.....

Same problem for the windshield... I wonder if I should just skip the windshield..

Well well finally, polishing done.. I am pleased with the result so far.



The bad thing was that I dropped the front wing end plate on the countertop and paint chipped off.. I have to redo the front wing end plate again and use S27 J199 decal to replace the 'Pearl' decal.



Next thing will be CF-ing undertray, driver seat, suspension arms etc etc... See if I can finish it by Christmas...

Alright, main body decal is done. I put on 1st layer of CL184 Gunze super clear II on this morning. It is a thin layer. I am relieved that my custom decal 'Zepter' from my inkjet printer stays intact..

I will sand off some big dust particle and put on 2nd thicker layer before I start the polishing.







It will be a while before next update... I can imagine the polishing process on this one will be lengthy...

Alright, decaling time starts... Some black decal doesn't quite fit and will touch up with a little black paint later.

The hornet head is so sharp!!! The yellow is abit off, but I think it will be alright after the gloss-coat.
